About me
My name is Vaclav Nemec and in present time I work on new web sites built according to the standards (x)html, css, PHP & MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery. I am concerned in web pages development since 1998, when I started to study University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. In 2003 - 2009 I worked in Skoda Auto as a programmer, analytic and later as a coordinator of team for subsidiary companies.Fiat lux!
For those of us, who cannot speak the language of ancient Romans so fluently, better to say in English “Let there will be light!” I am honoured to welcome you here on my website. Let’s start from the beginning…
Who am I
My name is Vaclav Nemec. Because I had the honour some years ago and graduated on University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, I am allowed to use the academic degree in form of “Ing.” before the name.
I worked from 2003 till 2009 in IT department of Škoda Auto, starting as a programmer, analytic (system organizer) and later as coordinator of a team, which offered services and support mostly to subsidiary and affiliated companies of VW concern. Concretely I was concerned in setting and support of system called SAP (Enterprise Resource Planning system) – to be specific its parts Financial Accounting and Controlling.
I have been part of a team, who set up the SAP system in Indian plant of Skoda Auto in Aurangabad, Maharastra. As a coordinator I took part in project of SAP setting in Russian plant of Volkswagen in Kaluga, Indian plant of Volkswagen in Puna or VW Group Importeur in Bombay. Besides projects focused on SAP system setting in new plants I was also responsible for support of both current and new clients.
In this time I put my mind on web development and maintenance (which I have done also in my free time since 1998) according to standards (X)HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript in cooperation with my friend from the University Petr Pabouček.
My interest or hobby is history, which I tried to combine with my other hobby – creation of websites – on server dějepis.com (in Czech only), which wants to provide basic information about Czech and world history to todays internet generation.

I Christian
As you can read from the title, I rank myself to Christians. I do not write Catholic or Protestant on purpose – because I think of myself as of Christian in the first place. I converted to Christianity with great help of Christian Fellowship congregation in Pilsen (KS). Its pastor Karel Rezabek also led my baptism in October 2002.
In October 2007 (after several years of visiting Holy Masses) in Roman Catholic parish of Mladá Boleslav I became one of parishioners also officially. It was during the friday’s Holy Mass held by P. Jozef Szeliga.
During Pentecost 2008 (May 10th) I was confirmed by general pastor of Community Koinonia John the Baptist Alvaro Grammatica commissioned by Mons. Frantisek Radkovsky, bishop of Pilsen. I got confirmation name David and my motto became part of 13th chapter from Acts “I have set you as a light”.
After nine months of live experience in the community I became parishioner of Roman Catholic Parish in Postoloprty before the Christmas 2009.
